Linda, Ron, and John embark on another dive.
Videograph by Rich Torkington in Cozumel 2003
Dive Journal: Our second tank is used at Dalila. My video rig batteries are wanely quickly, and on Ron’s advice, I save them for our third planned dive at Yucab. He makes a good call. The scenery here at Dalila is actually very beautiful but there is not so much fish life. After the dive Ron calls Christi on the radio and she generously offers to check in on Johnny and see if he wants to come out for the afternoon dives.

We dock at a beach club and meet with Christi and Ron for lunch. Johnny has come with her and is ready to dive! Christi has also brought our scored final tests and ceremoniously announces that we have passed the course. Yes! Linda and I got the same test score – fancy that – and we answered both of the tricky embolism questions corrrectly. After reviewing the few errors we’ve made on the tests, she presents us with 4 Blue XT Sea Diving tee shirts and our Rescue Diver certificates.

Celebration!
