2012 Utah-Colorado

A 2012 summer pedal with my friend Jack, starting in Cedar City Utah, heading east through the southern parts of the Utah, rolling through Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument,  Capitol Reef National Park, and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

From there we continued east into Colorado across the Rockies, finishing in Salida CO. This route took us through Montrose, Telluride, and Gunnison, and up over the Continental Divide at Monarch Pass above 11,000 feet in one spot.

This route followed Adventure Cycling Association’s Western Express Route, segments 3 and 4.

  1. Dude,

Still trying to reach you. Just about done laying out my book from the ride and need a “Life Quote” or philosophy from you to go with the dinosaur picture. Help a brother out! Seems like you are well and still riding much, been having a knee issue myself so I still ride but don’t push it as much right now and it seems to be slowly improving. My trainer says it’s from overuse and not enough cross training so hitting the pool a few times per week instead. Life goes on!

    Write me,

    L.E.
